We are looking for a talented and experienced Estimator to support all aspects of the company’s development & construction department. Coordinate all elements of project planning with all consultants. Prepare bid packages and AIA contracts. Monitor the subcontractors base for each project, reviewing project schedule and contract compliance, as well as, analyze feasibility, cost and profitability. Preparing Scope of Works. Review and evaluate cost estimates. Communicate with trade partners and team members regarding new and current projects. Understand scope of work to bid. Complete all bid documents, forms, proposals, etc. Ensure timely completion and submission of estimates. Manage bid pricing from all vendors. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
Desired Qualifications: Strong communicational skills both verbal and written. Strong organizational and follow-up skills. Negotiations on proposals. Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft project, Procore etc. Minimum of 5 years of construction experience. Bachelor’s degree in Building Science, Civil Engineer or other related field preferred. Able to read architectural plans and develop cost estimates. Strong understanding of commercial construction processes. Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
